Yes, incompatibility is one of the main reasons why couples cannot co-exist in harmony. Even the tiniest mistake assumes mammoth proportion. Very sad indeed.

You would be surprised by the silly reasons couples quote as a reason for divorce. In actual fact it is their incompatibility that makes couples find lame excuses for separation.
I am happy you discuss with your wife about everything. Sadly this is not the case in most marriages. Have you seen certain couples while shopping? They fight right in public view about brands and other things which they could have done easily at home. They continue their fight in home also. When there is no love petty and silly arguments become very common.

I just find it really sad that such small things can get in the way of people’s marriage.I do think you are right, though, it probably just comes because couples are incompatible to begin with.

I really have a hard time thinking that couples get divorced over what brand of shampoo they buy. Yes, my wife and I have our different tastes, but our conversations normally end with me, or her saying whatever and calling it good. The only way I can explain it is that it is important to pick your battles. Most of the time what brand you buy doesn’t matter at all and is certainly not a reason to lawyer up. If it is because the brands your spouse insists on are out of the budget, then I can see some real tension building, but that is really the only time I see it happening.
