Gala,
Of course we are living in a world of equal rights. A wife is never inferior to her husband. But modernity in no way takes away the expectation of a man. Wife expects her husband to demonstrate his love for her, doesn’t she? Does that make her servile? No. It doesn’t. Married life would be much better if both catered to the expectation of the other.

We’re living in a world of equal rights and if husband doesn’t like untidy house or indifferent meal, he can clean the house and make a meal. He could even treat his wife to a candle light dinner now and then. As for the children, it’s also a shared responsibility and husband participates equally in their upbringing.
